Personality An introverted bookworm, she prefers the peaceful company of books and plants. She is shy around people to the point where eye contact is difficult for her. It is difficult to get her to come out of her shell, however those with calmer temperaments will have an easier time talking to her. She was taught diligence and a love for learning at a young age, resulting in her good grades. At heart, she is very gentle and caring, taking the time to tend to her garden and her friends' needs. She's afraid of conflict or being put on the spot, opting to run away or cry if a situation becomes overly stressful. She also has a great dislike for battling, seeing how poor her fighting skills are.   

Strengthened by her friends, she has come out of her shell. While she still has shy tendencies, she's become friendly and very willing to give her heart to help people. While overall content in her mood, she still becomes lonely on occasion or become moody and will shut people out. Though, she's developed a habit of bottling her feelings. She still has self-doubt and worries often but tries not to become too stressed. 

History Rebecca was born as a Rattata to two business people, her Pachirisu mother and Rattata father. Not long after her birth did her family move to Hearthome City in Sinnoh, where her grandmother on her father's side resided. The kindly old woman taught Rebecca the myths and legends of the region. Every night, before the little girl went to sleep, her grandmother would read to her all kinds of books, inspiring a life-long love of reading. The energetic child spent the majority of her time with her grandmother, as her parents were working across-region building their own small company. The two spent the days reading, gardening and playing in the beautiful city.

When she was 7 years old, her parents' self made company began taking off. Needing to help set up divisions in multiple regions, the two planned to move. Her grandmother suggested that Rebecca stay with her in Hearthome City to continue living a stable life without interruptions. However, her parents felt that Rebecca shouldn't be separated from her parents. As a result, Rebecca was forced to move back to Ecruteak City then to Rustboro City in Hoenn and Castelia City of Unova. With each move, Rebecca's once vivacious energy faded more with fewer and fewer friends and she slowly retreated into her books for comfort.

Her latest move was to Saffron City, Kanto when she was 12. There she was enrolled into a private school in the city. It was like every other move to her. She kept her distance with her nose to herself. Her quiet and timid demeanor made her an easy target for her fellow classmates to tease. A particular group of school boys targeting her, often calling her "pencil" for her flat body shape and studious nature. 

One day, while her grandmother was visiting, Rebecca came home in tears after some particularly mean taunting, her backpack being stolen with it's contents scattered across the city. Heartbroken to see her only grandchild in such distress, she consoled her. She quickly looked for a new school for Rebecca to go, someplace stable and safe. Friends in Hearthome of told her of the Armonia Institute, the sister school of St. Mortiel. Rebecca's parents immediately protested but feel under the old Raticate's word. They sent in an application in hopes that Rebecca would accepted. Not only would the young girl get away from the town, but the grandmother felt that Rebecca may find some friends and finally grow back into the happy little girl she remembered all those years ago. 

Since arriving to Armonia...
For many months after arriving at the institute Rebecca still had trouble opening up to others, unsure how to approach her new environment. She quietly enjoyed her new school having only a few friends. 
On June 7th, a wandering Jirachi known as Cassiopedia, the Wishmaker, granted the young Rattata's wish for beauty and strength like her mother and others she admired. The Jirachi transformed her, giving her the form of a shiny Pachirisu. Finally happy and comfortable in her own fur, she became more friendly and began talking with her peers. Along the way she developed a number of strong and impactful friendships. Her new home encouraging her to face her fears and grow. Feeling accepted, she was truly happy.

However, in May 2015 she was transformed into a Trubbish at random. When the transformation didn't wear off, she became paranoid that her friends would find her ugly and would dislike her. Out of grief, she avoided them and hide from them. Months later, a moment of relief was given as she was morphed into an Espurr for some days, allowing her to say goodbye to her very dear friend, having promised him to be strong. Now she's finally stepping into the light again. While still scared, she has a new confidence that doesn't come from her looks. It is from new, blooming love of the person she is.

- She has a wide assortment of plants in her room. A bonsai, Hearthome ivy (English ivy), a spider plants, and an orchid. She also as a chesto berry tree that she keeps in the greenhouse.

- Her favorite book genres are fantasy, fairy tales/mythology and murder mysteries.

- The pink ribbon she wears is a gift from her grandmother. She treasures it dearly and always has it with her.

- She dislikes most feral Pokemon, dogs especially. While she's still weary of most feral Pokemon, thanks to her friends' help and having gained her own (surprise) pet, she's grown to not be afraid of them.

- Loves the preforming arts, but has horrible stage fright.

- Her outfit is her school uniform from Saffron Prep School. She wears it out of habit.
